CMD CEDA Environmental Solutions Named Excellence Awardee
We’re proud to announce that CMD CEDA Environmental Solutions has been shortlisted as a 2026 Excellence Awardee in the 16th Annual Canada’s Safest Employers Awards, under the category of Canada’s Safest Oil & Gas Employer.
This category recognizes employers in the oil and gas industry with exemplary health and safety records. Nominees are evaluated on how they ensure the health and safety of everyone who has access to or works on or off their premises or facilities.
Being named an Excellence Awardee is a strong testament to our ongoing commitment to creating a safer, healthier work environment. It places us among Canada’s top safety leaders and sets a high benchmark for excellence in the oil and gas sector.
We’re honoured to be recognized alongside seven other organizations, with the winner to be announced at the awards show on October 22 in Toronto, Ontario.
Our submission highlighted the strength of our Health, Safety & Environment Management System within CMD CEDA, with a deeper look into:
- What hazard and risk assessments have been completed for specific roles/jobs and the overall work environment
- How we ensure employees are adequately trained to perform their work effectively and safely
- How often inspections are conducted, including the inspection process and follow-up
- What initiatives and activities we undertake to keep employees engaged in safety
- How we communicate safety messages
